1, Glass bottles for cosmetics are mainly divided into these categories: skin care products (creams, lotions), perfumes, essential oils, nail polish. Both of them have small capacity. Products with more than 200ml capacity are rarely used for cosmetics.

2, Glass bottles are divided into wide-mouth bottles, narrow-mouth bottles. Solid creams are generally packaged in wide-mouth bottles. It is appropriate for wide-mouth bottles to match the aluminum plastic cap or plastic cap. The cap can be coated with colored spray oil; Lotion or water-based creams are packaged in narrow-mouth bottles with pump. It is worth noting that to prevent the accessories rust, most of the pump head uses glass beads. The material test is required. Inner plug is needed when lid is equipped. Water aqua is packaged in the bottle with a small hole and an inner plug. Lotion is packaged in the bottle with a big hole and an inner plug.

3, The glass bottle material is consistent. It has more shapes,richer processing crafts and diversified cap. Common bottle shapes are cylindrical, oval, flat, prismatic, conical, etc. Manufacturers often develop a series of bottle shape. Spraying, transparent, frosted, translucent color mixing, silk-screen printing, hot stamping and silver hot stamping can be seen in the process of production.

4, Silk screen printing: There are two kinds of glass bottle silk screen printing. One is high-temperature ink silk screen printing. It is not exposed to decolorization. The color is darker. The color purple is not clear in this craft. The other one is low-temperature ink silk screen printing. This types’ color is more colorful. The ink requirements are higher, and easy to fall off. Bottle sterilization is worth paying attention to.

5, If a glass bottle are belonged to hand molding bottle, there will be a little deviation in capacity. It should be tested and marked with correct capacity when using. If a bottle is produced in the production line , the shipment date will be long. The production cycle is relatively long, and the capacity is more stable.

6, The uneven thickness of the glass bottle will easily lead to damage. In the cold weather bottles are easy to be squeezed by the contents. Reasonable capacity should be tested when being filled. It should be wrapped in separated paper packaging. It also should be equipped with a color box. The inner tray and mid box can be more to take the role of anti-vibration.

7, The cap can be processed by following crafts, electroplating aluminum engraving, hot stamping, matte color, with sealing gaskets and inner cover, preferably with pressure sensitive film to strengthen the sealing effect.

8、Essential oil bottles are usually made of amber or colored frosted glass, which can be protected from light. The lid comes with a safety ring and can be matched with an inner plug or dropper. Perfume bottles are usually matched with a delicate spray pump or plastic outer cover.
